Life
The magic of life, the Life sphere deals with strengthening and changing lifeforms, animal and human. Mages gain passive physical traits equal to their level in the life sphere.
Matter
The magic of creation, The Matter sphere deals with the construction use and analysis of tools and materials of this world. Mages gain passive craft retests(of all types) equal to their level in the matter sphere.
Mind
The magic of consciousness, the Mind sphere deals with the manipulation of and enhancement of sentient creatures and their perceptions. Mages gain passive mental traits equal to their level in the mind sphere.
Prime
The magic of essence, The prime sphere taps into and unifies all powers in the world by tapping into the quintessence flowing within it. Mages gain passsive quintessence equal to their level in the prime sphere.
Spirit
The magic of spirits, the spirit sphere grants a mage the ability to commune and summon the denizens of the middle and high umbra, if they have the manners for it. Mages gain passive social traits equal to their level in the spirit sphere.
Time
The magic of time, the Time sphere deals with the passage and perception of time, speeding things up and slowing them down. When mages enter combat they go on a celerity tick equal to their level in the Time sphere.
