Turn a dead or object into a new fetter for a wraith, you or the target pay the XP cost for a new fetter, in an emergency targets can be fettered to shadowlands matter but they cannot resolve such fetters.

Challenge: Socials(Empathy) vs Socials(willpower) Cost: 1 Pathos Duration: One action
Make a socials(Empathy) v socials(willpower) to cut a wraith you can see from one of its fetters temporarily inflicting a -1 penalty to all checks for the scene. This power does not stack with itself and wraiths can only be cut off from one fetter but if they have no fetters left they fall to the labyrinth for a destructive harrowing.
