Way of destruction is a powerful magical arcanoi centered around the 100 spells of the black book of the labyrinth, retrieved by the first deathlord of the legion of revelations from the labyrinth

Binding

Challenge: Mentals(Occult) vs Mentals(willpower) Cost: 1 Pathos Duration: Scene

The Wraith waves their hand and makes a Mentals(Occult) check vs Mentals(Willpower) of the target, who can only be an unaugmented human. Success paralyzes the target for the scene.

⚫⚫ Explosive Absorption

Challenge: Mentals(Occult) vs diff equal to explosives category Cost: One pathos if used reflexively Duration: Instant

Wraith can once per scene absorb a raw explosive, grenade, or soulfire crystal to regain 2 pathos or angst. A wraith can use this power spend a pathos and make a Mentals(Occult) check to jump on an explosive that would go off in the explosives round, success absorbs the explosion causing no damage from it.

⚫⚫⚫ Soulfire Burial

Challenge: Mentals(Occult) Vs Physicals(Athletics) Cost: None Duration: Instant

A burst of red flame surrounds the target in the shape of a coffin and slams them into the ground buried to the head. Spend a pathos and make a test Mentals(Occult) vs Physicals(Athletics). Success on the test causes the target to Take 3 Lethal and they must spend a step or an athletics retest to remove themselves from the ground on their turn, or be unable to take actions that require hands and feet.

⚫⚫⚫⚫Pale Lightning

Challenge: Mentals(Occult) vs Physicals(Defense) Cost: One pathos Duration: Instant Spending a pathos causes it to leap from the wraith’s finger in a form of either white or black lightning, solidified faith pathos or solidified angst. White deals damage to undead, black to living creatures. The wraith spends a pathos and makes a Mentals(Occult) vs. Physicals(Defense) test against the target. If the test is successful the target takes 4 ag.

⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Thrash of the Five dragons

Challenge: None Cost: 1 pathos 1 willpower Duration: Scene

Spend 1 pathos and a willpower calling on the power of bygones long since dead, the wraith summons a tempest of powerful elements from the labyrinth. Creatures in the scene begin to take 4 damage a turn on the explosives tick. The damage starts at bashing and increases one severity step a turn until the third turn when lightning and fire continually strike the scene dealing aggravated damage. Creatures killed this way become wraiths if they die, hiding in newly formed cocoons until the storm subsides. The wraith itself is not immune to this power, upon use, running is recommended.
