Pilgrimage
A Promethean's Pilgrimage is the most important part of their journey and determines how they are reconciling their inhumanity similar to a path. The pilgrimage progress starts at 0 and each pilgrimage has 5 trials similar to spiritual factions, each trial passed increase the promethean's azoth score by 1. A trial must be initiated with an attempt pilgrimage trial action which costs 2 xp Passing trial 5 makes them become something humanistic or a qashalim. Having Compassion reduces the check at the end of a trial. Outlines of the trials and their associated judges are listed below but fundamentally each Promethean's journey to humanity is different. A promethean starts on the pilgrimage of their family but can change with an attempt pilgrimage trial.
Advancing on the pilgrimage requires beats, Prometheans gain 1 beat per session by following their role, and can gain additional beats by taking the meditate action. Once they have the prerequisite number of beats they can attempt the trial of their pilgrimage, spending the requisite number of beats to do so regardless of success or failure.
