Path of Focused Mind
Developed by a Tremere Kabbalistic scholar, this extremely rare path is only practiced by a select few. The serenity and dedication necessary to train the mind is often lacking in these chaotic nights, but those few who master their own thoughts become frighteningly effective opponents. This path is extremely guarded by the tremere and typically only available to regents and higher.
Unlike other paths of Thaumaturgy not every level of this path requires a Blood expenditure. All levels require a willpower expenditure.

Powers (Mental - Occult)
⚫ Readiness
Challenge: N/A Cost: One Willpower Duration: Action to activate, lasts until next action
This power grants the ability to jump start sluggish synapses, allowing for a quicker and more lucid understanding of a situation. While it is only usable upon the thaumaturge herself, she will have an extra skill retest on the first chop she makes next.
⚫⚫ Centering
Challenge:N/A Cost: One Willpower Duration: Action to activate, last for Scene
By muttering soothing words to himself or another, the caster can influence a person's psyche. While experiencing this serenity, the target is better able to focus on tasks and problems ahead of her, even ignoring pain and the threat of bodily harm. The caster is two traits up on all Frenzy challenges for the scene.
⚫⚫⚫ One Tracked Mind
Challenge:Mentals(Occult) vs Mentals(Willpower) Cost: One Willpower, One Blood Duration: Action
By extending her focus to another person and speaking to them rationally, the thaumaturge may fixate her subject upon a single action or thought. The target ignores any and all distractions around him, and simply concentrates on the idea in front of him. If cast during combat, the target may not perform any other actions for their next round other than the one he most recently declared at the time of casting; even extra actions gained through Celerity are directed toward this end. If used on an unwilling target, its successful use requires a Mental Challenge. If successful, the target gains a two trait bonus to their next action, which must be identical to the previous action they took. If it is not possible, the target loses her next action. An Awareness test against the caster's Mental Traits is required to notice this effect if it is used outside of combat.
⚫⚫⚫⚫ Perfect Clarity
Challenge: N/A Cost: One Willpower Duration: Reflexive
With a burst of concentration, the thaumaturge is able to achieve a moment of pure thought, transcending emotion and distraction. By spending a temporary Willpower, the caster gains a Discipline level retest when defending against Social Powers. This stacks with Awe. ( The retest is called Clarity)
⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Dual Thought
Challenge:N/A Cost:One Willpower Duration: Reflexive
This degree of mental perfection permits the thaumaturge to concentrate on two completely different tasks and perform them both with equal acumen. By spending a temporary Willpower, the caster may take an extra Thaumaturgical action during her turn so long as that action is Casting Thaumaturgy. The extra turn takes place during the celerity rounds at the end of celerity actions. As usual, the Caster can not use this power and celerity in the same round. This ability lasts for one round.
