Mokole say that they are the oldest Changing breed. Their progenitors walked the earth when Dinosaurs did and were regarded as the great Dragon Kings of old. Their time is past now. Where once they were the kings of all creation, time has had its toll on the Mokole. The War of Rage reduced their numbers down to nearly extinct, but they struggled back from the brink of annihilation. Where once they were guadians of a vast empire, what is left now are a few scattered clutches of Dragon Kings left. In the East, they still have an empire in the Hengeyokai, but in the west, They are really only found in two places; the deserts of Arizona and the swamps of Florida. Florida Mokole:

The Florida Mokole were United by Uncle Monday, a Legendary Mokole who did battle with the technocracy and federal government all throughout the last 1700's and early 1800's. Sometime in the early 1900's he disappeared and went to sleep though, and his children fell to infighting. Three large clutches of Mokole make their homes in and around the Florida everglades, Each is led by a rank 3 of 4 Mokole who claims themself to the inheritor of Monday's duty. Muddy Wallow, Ted, and Snaps at Progress are all in a form of Cold War with one another. Neither has the power or influence to claim full dominion. Muddy Wallow in particular is involved in a heated blood war with the local Nagah

Mokole may be of any Auspice, though their Auspice is based on the position of the Sun, not the Moon. Mokole Ragabash tend to be oddities among the dour Mokole.

Relationship with other Changers

Only the Corax count the Mokole as friends without reservation. They are both sun creatures after all.

The Mokole do not forget easily and many still hold a grudge against the Werewolves.

Most Mokole find Nuwisha to be obnoxious.

Personality

Mokole tend to be stoics with a tendency to want to be in charge. This often leads them into conflict with the SilverFangs when they are rarely working on a similar project.
