Blasphemies are combo disciplines unique to Daimonion and Dark Thaum. A character must be pledged to a dark lord to use them. Those gaining Dark thaum through merits do not qualify (unless they take steps to find themselves a demonic patron.) Baali purchase these powers at a cheaper cost, the same way Brujah purchase Kibats at a cheaper cost.

Potence 4, Auspex 4 (Daimoinon or Dark Thaum 4)

The crafter can sacrifice a kindred life as part of the craft check to gain a second discipline retest; doing so results in the loss of a path rating; it cannot be redeemed through meditation; the forger knows what they did is an affront. Weapons forged this way will have a kindred aura and possibly a mind. If the kindred in question isn't on a path the weapon finds agreeable - Chosen by the sacrificed kindred- then it will always provide zero traits.

This Ritual is a bastardization of a level 7 thaumaturgical ritual that uses demonic power to make up the difference. The level 7 version of the ritual causes the vampiric victim to maintain more of their power.

The kindred may add the following tags to weapons on which the above ability was used. They get one for free as part of the casting; additional ones affect difficulty.

  • Mass Trauma: Spend two melee retests before making the attack to increase the attack damage by one.
  • Blood Drinker: The sword thirsts. Any time an attack is made, it drains blood from the target. If an attack misses, the wielder loses blood.
  • Ghost slicer: The weapon can attack astral figures and the immaterial for full damage. Astral figures take no damage but are stunned for 10 min as they return to their body.
  • Hidden: The weapon loses its aura.
  • Madness: the weapon inflicts a set derangement on all who it damages and its wielder. The derangement lasts for an hour.
  • Flames: anytime a level of damage from the weapon is converted to ag, an additional level is converted.
  • Aegi- The weapon can shatter to use a mini Aegis that soaks 6 damage.
  • Reforming - If the weapon is destroyed, it reforms itself if 5 blood is added to it over the course of an hour.
  • Ward Existence- The weapon is warded against the very concept of existence. It deals ward damage to all beings.
  • Returning- The weapon returns to the wielder's hand if they spend a single step.
  • Overwhelming - The weapon has a damage cap of 7.

Hideous Strength

(Daimonion 4 or Dark Thaum 4), Potence 5,

The character’s Damage cap is increased by one for all purposes. When they declare 7 or more damage, The wounds they inflict glow green momentarily.

Cruelty

(Daimonion 5 or Dark Thaum 5), Dominate 5.

The Dominator can override humans and other living beings' self-preservation instincts and dominate them to harm themselves. Vampires are so opposed to dying that they may spend a Permanent virtue to defend against this effect as though they are defending against a Frenzy.

Conversion Therapy

Daimoinon 5 and Dark Thaum 5 and Dominate 5

Costs a permanent Willpower: Converts another from their current clan to Baali.
