Character Creation Guide

We use templates for pretty much every character. The Rank 1 Fera Template is Linked Below. Before Filling it out Contact staff via the discord or Email. You might have a better teplate.

The steps to filling it out

  • First come up with a concept for your character. Who were they in life? Were they raised in Fera/ Garou culture or were they a lost pup? Were you born a wolf? a Human? or a Metis (Born to two werewolf parents you have some kind of deformities and are ostracized by most Fera cultures that arent Naga.)
  • Next ask staff about Breeds and Tribes. ALso heavily suggested that you at least browse both Changing Breeds 20th edition and Werewolf: The apocalypse 20th edition
  • Now that you have your template. Start by filling out the Top Portion. Staff will assign you a Rank.
  • Next you will need to choose your Auspice, Breed/Tribe, and Totem. Each of these three grant you access to a full gift chain, and determine your starting gifts.
  • Auspice refers to your place in Fera society, it has to do with when you were born.
  • Next look at your attributes. They are marked Physical Mental Social. You get a 7 a 5 and a 3 to assign to each, along with a few extra points to assign as you see fit. The number of extra points is listed on your Template. Your Maxes are determined by your Rank
  • After that is Abilities. You have some starting points in abilities (Denoted by numbers already assigned there.) The number listed next to the word Abilities is the number of Free ability points you have to assign to your abilities. If you have a concept in mind, ask Staff what skills you may need to fulfill this concept. The max of all abilities is 5.
  • Next up is Virtues, Rage, Gnosis and Willpower. Your willpower is basically a measurement of how hard your character can try in a night. Virtues are right below that. You start with one point in every virtue and then have an additional number of Free points to place listed next to the word Virtue. Gnosis is a measurement of your spiritual energy. It is used to power many gifts. Rage is a measurement of your supernatural might and anger. It is used to power many combat gifts.
  • Virtues are rated from 1-5. They are Courage, Conscience, Self Control and Compassion, Courage is Bravery. Conscience is you ability to understand how your actions affect others, Self-control is your ability to restrain the monster that your are, and compassion is your ability to care for your fellow man ( or wolf) . Place the dots as you want. You willpower is based on your courage, and your starting Road rating is equal to your (Self-control + Conscience/2)
  • Next is Gifts. You receive the Basic Gift from your Totem, Auspice and Tribe/Breed Tree at character creation, You may choose one additional gift from any tree you qualify for. Any additional ranks of gifts will require you to spend freebie points.
  • Last is Backgrounds. You receive a number of background points based on your template. Backgrounds represent assets (things your have) and Relationships ( People and spirits you Know.)
  • Finally You have a number of Freebies Points to spend to flesh out your character. (insert Link here)
  • You get a 1 dot and 2 dot piece of equipment for each dot of resources you possess.
