Level 1

Blood of Mercy

Not Dismissable

Place pebble in mouth, dance for 10 min with pebble in mouth, puncture tongue with fang allowing blood to be absorbed into pebble. The pebble is then held under the tongue of someone whose blood is being consumed. The caster is then not blood bonded to the subject. It does not break any blood bonds present in either party. It can be spat out/swallowed at any time, magically speaking. There is nothing inherent in the ritual keeping the pebble in the mouth of the subject. Once the pebble is created its potency lasts for one hour or until used. After use/1 hour the pebble is just a pebble.

Reawakening Dead Water

Instantaneous

A person can only cast this ritual once per night and can only gain the effects of this ritual once per night. the caster pours a point of their blood into a body of water and drinks the resultant cloudy sludge. they regain a point of temporary willpower. this will not take them above their maximum.

Dedicate the chantry

Not Dismissable

Caster sprinkles a point of blood on the door of the chantry for 28 days, this ritual takes one month to cast. anyone who is going to benefit from this ritual is named individually over the course of those 28 days, if additional chantry members are added the spell must be re-cast. the chantry then counts as a 3 trait piece of equipment for all occult challenges. This ritual takes an action to cast.

Deny The Intruder

This spell requires a stack of bills from various municipal authorities, a point of blood is poured upon the stack of bills which are then set on fire. any municipal service, trash, water, cable, electricity, etc. continues to function for that month but the house is no longer listed in the rolls of the company nor does anyone need to pay the bills. This spell lasts for 28 days. During this time no mail will come nor other deliveries. This ritual takes an action to cast.

Purify Blood

Instantaneous

Caster spends an occult retest, all of the blood in a nonliving, inanimate vessel, up to 5 traits is cleansed of any drug, toxin, disease or supernatural vitae. It becomes normal human or animal blood.

Enlightenment

Not Dismissable

Caster buries himself beneath a willow tree. when he rises he has a 3 trait equipment bonus on all social challenges vs spirits. lasts 1 hour.

Blood Rush

Dismissable

The vampire may make herself feel as though she has fed, even is she hasn’t. This may be used for pleasure, or to curb thirst-related frenzy. During this time the character is immune to all frenzy checks related to hunger. Lasts one hour.

Communicate with Kindred Sire

Dismissable

This ritual involves possessing an object belonging to the Sire, and takes five minutes. The vampire may speak with her sire, telepathically (this does not facilitate mindreading). Variations of this ritual exist to allow telepathic communication between one’s thralls, progeny, or those who have tasted the caster’s blood. This communion cannot last more than an hour.

Communicate with Thrall

Dismissable

This ritual involves possessing an object belonging to A person you have blood bound to you and takes five minutes. The vampire may speak with her thrall, telepathically (this does not facilitate mindreading). Variations of this ritual exist to allow telepathic communication between one’s sire, progeny, or those who have tasted the caster’s blood. This communion cannot last more than an hour.

Communicate with Circle

This ritual involves having undergone circle communion in the past 28 days, and takes five minutes. The vampire must speak with ALL members of their circle, telepathically (this does not facilitate mindreading). Variations of this ritual exist to allow telepathic communication between one’s thralls, progeny, sire, or those who have tasted the caster’s blood. This communion cannot last more than an 15 minutes.

Rite Of Introduction

This ritual involves being initiated into a magical order or brotherhood and takes five minutes. The vampire may speak with the local head of their order, telepathically (this does not facilitate mindreading). Variations of this ritual exist to allow telepathic communication between one’s thralls, progeny, or those who have tasted the caster’s blood. This communion cannot last more than an hour.

Defense of Sacred Haven

Not Dismissable

The caster traces a rune in their blood on a window or other glazed opening, this blood is then absorbed into the space in the opening itself. if the window is opened the sunlight will pass. sunlight will not pass through that window for 24 hours. Other forms of light pass through just fine. The blood is consumed entirely. This ritual takes an action to cast.

Lesser Deflection of Wooden Doom

The caster places a splinter through their tongue doing a health level of damage, this damage may be healed as normal. For one instance of staking (both simples on that instance) you can use your occult to cancel the medicine retests for staking.

Devil's Touch

Not Dismissable

Caster spends a blood into a coin. When this coin touches an unaugmented base mortal, That mortal provokes a 1 trait rage frenzy in all animals or other unaugmented base mortals they come into contact with for one hour.

Dominoe of Life

Dismissable

Caster spends a subterfuge. The vampire may simulate any one aspect of being physically human. Any trait, from the warmth of human flesh to the ability to cry real tears can be assumed. Lasts one night. cannot overcome curses of caine

Incantation of the Shepard

Dismissable

Caster spends a blood, they immediately know the direction, distance, and current health (number of health levels, are they sick, injured, drugged etc) of any mortal upon which they have fed in the last 28 days. This stream of data lasts 1 hour.

Rite of the Vanishing Blemish

Instantaneous

This ritual removes blood and other stains, leaving no trace. With a small amount of raw cotton or wool and the caster’s incantation, even large stains are absorbed into nothingness. The material must be held over the stain while the incantation is said, after which it is mystically "soaked" in and the cotton/wool is useless. This works even if the stain has dried.

Preserve Blood

Not Dismissable

This ritual involves burying an earthenware container for three nights. Blood may be preserved in such a container by putting in a little burdock, reciting a few incantations, and sealing it with wax. This blood will be preserved until the container is broken or opened. The spell must be recast on the container every 28 days.This ritual takes an action to cast.

Preserve Kindred Corpse

Not Dismissable

One must make an ointment of embalming fluid from a corpse and mix a trait of the caster's blood into the ointment. If this ointment is applied to a Kindred or other corporeal entity that does not normally leave a corpse. (kindred turn to ash, wraiths to ectoplasm, etc.) The subject the ointment is applied to will remain intact after the death of the being upon whom the ointment is applied. This ointment can be applied to a weapon causing the entity struck by the weapon to leave a corpse if the entity is damaged by that weapon. Corpses sustained in this manner will still revert to ectoplasm, ash, what have you after 24 hours. A casting of this spell per day must be performed to maintain the parts so preserved.

Rebirth Of Mortal Vanity

Caster spends a point of Blood, their hair grows or cuts to its desired length, as a note this changes the length of the hair they wake up with into perpetuity.

Will o’ the Wisp

Dismissable

Costs a blood The vampire may turn a small branch from a willow tree into a floating ball of light that is under her mental command, that will continue to glow if within sight of the vampire. Lasts until dawn.

Black Water

Not Dismissable

Caster spends a blood which turns into a liquid that, once poured into a body of water the size of an olympic standard sized swimming pool, will turn it opaque black. The liquid will lose its color after 24 hours,

Blood test

Instantaneous

Caster spends an occult retest, he instantly knows if a subject is under the effects of a Blood Bond, Veniculum, Circle Call, Blood Oath or other such influence. This will also allow the caster to instead detect any blood-borne pathogens or other impurities in the blood, either natural or supernatural. Caster must have a trait of subject's blood present. This consumes the trait of the subject's blood.

Bring Forth The Light Within

Dismissable

Costs the caster an occult retest. This ritual is cast upon an item or person touched by the caster. If the item or person has any magical enchantments or other magical properties it glows with a soft white light for one hour.


Ritual Indicator

This ritual is cast upon a glass bead. If a ritual is attempted within 1 foot of the bead in the next hour, the bead glows yellow. When the ritual attempt is complete, the bead glows red if the casting has failed and green if the casting has succeeded.
