Artifacts
Wraiths have artifacts that are other wraiths almost exclusively. Artifacts are equipment with a 2nd ability that normally mirrors a power that can be accessed by soul-crafting the artifact into its wielder(wraiths only), with a diff 6 craft (Weapon or equipment) check. This is called integrating an artifact. Most artifacts are weapons, often swords. Guns of artifact rating 3 or higher are rare but are becoming more common as wraiths who used guns in life become older, more powerful and are sometimes crafted into artifacts. The more powerful the original wraith being soul-forged, the more powerful the artifact. All artifacts level 2 and above have the durable tag. Integrated artifacts are treated as fetters and counted against the wraith’s max number of fetters.Crafting an artifact takes a soul to craft and has a difficulty equal to its difficulty to craft as a normal item + 2. So an expensive large artifact is diff 6 to craft.
