The Salubri have had a rough lot. Of the original clans, only they find themselves a bloodline having been devoured by their fellows until there is naught but few left. Whether this clan flaw is to blame for it, or whether they developed it in reaction to their persecution is unclear, but what is clear is that each Salubri provokes a hunger deep within their fellows.

Whenever a Salubri uses a Spirit Discipline or Thaumaturgy, they bleed from their forehead. To mortal onlookers, this is merely blood like any other stigmata, but to a vampire, it provokes a deep and primal yearning. The blood from the eye of a Salubri is akin to wagyu steak or truffles upon the palate of a kindred, and the aroma is equally as appealing. The first time in a scene the Kindred uses the Spirit discipline, all other vampires present must make a Conscience (Hunger) frenzy to avoid sinking their fangs in the skill of the Cyclops. The difficulty starts at 2 but is doubled if an affected target is under half-blood. Some Salubri have explicitly developed the ability to cast Tremere Thaumaturgy without bleeding through a great deal of effort and self-control.

This has created a culture among the Salubri warriors of daring enemies to feast upon them, some even using their blood tactfully, waiting until their foe's blood reserves are low before provoking a frenzy upon themselves, leaving their foe as a mindless animal.

A Salubri with the clan flaw can purchase the level 3 4 and 5 Obeah of one of the other castes at OOC costs.
