A semi- Secret organization within the clan Assamite. The council Introduces and imagines new uses for technology by clan Assamite. Their duty is to keep up with and report on modern advances in the chosen field and report them back to Alamut. This information is shared frequently between members of the same "Seat." The Assamites have developed a wide range of specialized gadgets and combo disciplines from this research. However, the elders of clan Assasmite frown upon this information being spread throughout the entire clan without their proper vetting (which can take decades.) As a result, members of individual seats tend to be the only ones practicing and iterating upon new developments.

An Assamite can petition to join one of the Seats by demonstrating great work in the field or by fulfilling a request from an elder of the Seat. Hunting down the Elder in the secret society is considered part of the trial, as none of this information is stored publically. (Need to take Search for actions)

Having a "seat" grants the Assamite the ability to purchase a piece of specialized equipment with a unique effect or a +5 trait bonus. (costs 5exp.)

The Assamite Loses one action each January for each Seat she is a member of.

Seat of Gold - +5 Finance

Seat of Glass and Smoke - Allows the Assamite to create an elixir "From Marduk's Throat"

Seat of Sums - +5 Physical Sciences

Seat of Dust and Bone - Allows the Assamite to cast the ritual "Taste of Ash."

Seat of Flesh - +5 Medicine

Seat of Tongues - +5 Academics

Seat of Copper and Lightning - +5 Computers

Seat of Mirrors - +5 Security

Seat of the Book - +5 Empathy

Seat of Mists - Grants the Assamite the Item "Spirit Head"

Seat of Wind and Stone +5 Politics

Seat of Fire and Steel - Grants the Assamite a GyroJet Rifle and the ability to Craft Gyrojet Rounds.

Seat of Impact - Grants the Assamite a Specialized Explosive Watch.

From Marduks Throat

This unassuming can is filled with a variety of tinctures and blood from the great blood well beneath Alamut. Each one is keyed to a different generation and the Assamite placing the order must specify when they receive their Can. An Assamite must gather blood from 10 different vampires of the same generation and then add them to the can. The Kindred that the blood came from must be alive when the blood is drained into the can. Upon drinking the completed can, the Assamite lowers one generation. Once used, the can is useless, but the Assamite can order another Can (though they must pay for it again.)

Taste of Ash

The Assamite gains a machine that produces a mixture of liquid gold and mercury. This mixture can be poured into ash and mixed into a slurry before being drunk, to ask one question as though the taste of blood was used on the Ashes. The Assamite gains one use of the mixture per month.

Spirit Head

The Assamite gains a Stone head that can be held up and offered to local spirits. The Spirit can possess the head and speak to the Assamite as though they were manifest.

Gyrojet rifle

This rifle fires large, half-inch-thick bullets with jet boosters in them. These guns were deemed impractical for the US Army, but the Assamites have begun producing them in small numbers. The Gyrojet grants +4 traits and deals 6B. Bullets can be ordered in Silver, Gold, or Cold iron. The rounds hit with such force that even against kindred, they deal 4L instead of 3L. The Kindred gains 4 rounds when they purchase the gun and can reorder more with an action.

"Explosive Watch"

This Watch is a perfectly stable explosive that never goes off unless activated. It deals 10 Lethal to a structure it is planted upon. Ordering a new one costs an action. They won't send a second unless the first is used. It is indistinguishable from a Rolex
