Rites
Rites are long form Rituals that call on the spirits to do something, or call on the people attending the Rite to do something and be rewarded or punished for it. Many Rites dont have hard statistical numbers attached to them and instead have more narrative effects. Rites take 10 minutes or take a Time action to cast between games. Any Garou of any rank can learn any rite. Casting the rite requires an occult check. All Rites require a difficulty 3 check.
Players can create new rites. Just submit them to staff.
Basics:
Rite of Cleansing: Removes taint of the Wyrm from an area and the beings within it. Causes wyrm creatures to smoke. The difficulty of the check is determined by the ST, with some areas being so steeped in Wyrm that removing the taint is beyond the scope of this ritual.
Rite of Contrition: Ritual of saying you are sorry to someone or a spirit.
Rite of Renunciation: Changes your Auspice and moves you back down to Rank 1
Rite of the Moot: Cast at the beginning of any Sept meeting.
Rite of Opened Caern: Summons the spirit of a Caern
Rite of the Departed : Performed on a Garou to ensure their soul reaches the afterlife.
Talisman Dedication: Cast on Clothing or items that you would like to have with you when you shift forms. Otherwise clothing rips and tears. Fetishes do not need to be picked.
Advanced
Rite of Open Skies: Like Rite of Cleansing, but encompasses an entire Caern.
Rite of the Loyal Pack: Performed by Theurge or Galliard before a pack sets out. Success grants all the members a phantom Willpower for the day.
Rite of the Enchanted forest: Makes an area seem haunted for 1 year. * Blue Book*
Rite of Winter Wolf: Cast by an old Garou, when it's getting too old to fight. The Werewolf is guided towards a servant of the wyrm for one last glorious fight.
Rite of Heritage. Lets you know the target's family lineage. One generation back per rank of caster.
Cardboard Palace: Turns a Cardboard box into a comfortable place to sleep for a week. Looks like a cozy log cabin inside.
Rite of the Questing Stone: As the Level 3 Ritual 'Illuminate Trail of Prey'
Rite of Spirit Awakening: Cause a spirit to talk to you. It doesn’t need to be friendly, though it probably won’t attack. Offerings are useful. All spirits will accept Gnosis.
Rite of the Fetish: This Rite is needed before one can craft Fetishes
The Hunt: Calls a hunt against a werewolf who has committed crimes against a Caern. All members of the Caern will know their face.
Descent into the underworld: This rite takes five minutes to perform. The character must sacrifice a living mammal and touch every character to be affected by the rite with at least a fingerprint of its blood. The rite takes the ritemaster to the Underworld.

Rite of Opened Bridge: Allows the caster to travel to another Caern near to them. Within 50 Miles.
Rite of Caern Building: Turns a Node into a Caern with the agreement of the local spirit. Performing tasks for it is common but you can get its agreement in any way.
Rite of Becoming: Cast in the Middle Umbra, guides you to any horizon realm named by the caster.
Rite of Summoning: Summons a specific spirit . The spirit must still travel the distance... So it may take some time.
