Visceratika is the proprietary discipline of the gargoyles. Visceratika was once thought to be a property of the Gargoyle condition, however, in modern nights this has been proven false. The discipline can be learned by any kindred if they can find a free Gargoyle to teach them. Slave Gargoyles tend to lack the mental faculties to properly instruct others making them poor teachers. Free Gargoyles can teach, though most will not part with their proprietary discipline cheaply.

Visceratika rituals

Trait: None Ability: Survival

Chameleon Skin

Challenge: None Cost: None Duration: Action to activate, until dismissed

Renders the target invisible to cameras and the naked eye. The Gargoyle can move normally while cloaked, though any amount of Auspex will penetrate the disguise. If the stone-clad kindred also possesses obfuscate then her ranks in obfuscate oppose auspex in the usual way, and he remains invisible to cameras while obfuscated. Works like obfuscate for the purpose of interacting with objects. You cannot activate this power while being observed by a person.

⚫⚫Scry The Hearthstone

Challenge:None Cost: One Survival Duration: Scene

The gargoyle is aware of the number of people present in a building they are touching and their location within 5 feet. This does not provide information about their identity or capacities, nor does it allow the Gargoyle to target a person who is obfuscated or otherwise cloaked, merely for them to know that they are present and in what room. This follows Auspex vs. Obfuscate rules; (ie. if the target has a higher amount of Obfuscate than the user of this power has Visceratika then this power fails. If the targets are equal then there is a challenge. If lower, then Scry the Hearthstone just works.)

⚫⚫⚫Bond with The Mountain

Challenge: None Cost: One Blood Duration: One day

With this Discipline, The Gargoyle sinks into the stone or concrete of a building which they touch, able to sleep mystically undisturbed within the wall or floor. This power works exactly like Earth Meld except that a Gargoyle may only bond with worked stone. The Gargoyle bonds fully with the stone rendering him impossible to differentiate from the stone itself.

⚫⚫⚫⚫Armor of Terra

Challenge: None Cost: One Blood, One Survival Duration: One action to activate. Lasts for Scene, or 15 minutes

<Transformation> The Gargoyle reaches into the earth and pulls up the armor of stone to cover her body. All Aggravated damage done during that scene is converted to lethal. In addition the Gargoyle gains 2 physical as her musculature hardens. This armor will not work against sunlight. The Damage Cap of all attacks against the Gargoyle is 5 (unless something else is raising the Cap) while this power is active. This activates before Fortitude, meaning a Gargoyle with Fortitude 3 can soak even the more dire of blows to 4. this power takes an action to activate.

Master Level Powers_____________

⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫Flow Within the Mountain

Challenge: None Cost: One Blood Duration: One Minute

The Gargoyle may pass through stone, earth, rock, steel, wood, glass and concrete, basically, all building materials that are not alive or made entirely of natural unworked uncut materials (like a natural cavern or cave which no chisel has cut) at a cost of 2 steps per step. This does not harm the material through which they pass. If their time runs out while they are in the building they can spend another blood to continue or they may take a level of lethal damage and be ejected into the nearest available space.

⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Dark Statue

Challenge: None

Cost: One Willpower

Duration: One Day

By spending a wIllpower and posing perfectly still, the kindred becomes immune to sun damage. If they move the power ends. They must make a fear frenzy check as normal when they first see the Sun but the difficulty is only 2. The kindred remains aware of their surroundings while the power is active, allowing them to survey things during the day. Since they can't move though, gargoyles sometimes find themselves awakening with cans, bottles, or fast food bags on them.

⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Shield of Wings

Challenge: None

Cost: 1 Willpower, 1 blood.

Duration: Until deactivated

The Gargoyle learns to harden its wings, Trading Mobility for defense. The gargoyle's wings become covered in shale. They lose all the extra steps from Flight for the duration of the power. In exchange, they ignore the first (Flight) health levels of damage from Ballistic, Fire, or other Elemental attacks each round and add their (Visceratika)+1 to their traits when defending against any attack. These traits count as equipment but can only be used with the Defense skill. Activating or Deactivating this power takes a full action that can be combined with Celerity.

When learned by a non-Gargoyle, this Discipline coats the user's left arm in shale, providing the trait bonus but not the Damage negation unless they also have Flight.
