Heroes

Heroes are creatures spawned by the consensus to fight against beasts, they are a combination of a paradox spirit and a hunter, similar to a beast they also have a legend rating, which assists them in fighting beasts. The higher the legend of the beast they have to fight, the higher their legend. They gain abilities from the list equal to their legend rating. Their willpower, virtues, and trait max all increase by their legend. These powers only function against beasts and those who aid them. When the beast(s) are slain the hero loses their power.

Legendary Feats

  • Never falls: The hero cannot be reduced below 1 health level, they always stand back up 1 round after they're killed or incapacitated.
  • Blessing of the Goddess: The hero is unaffected by any form of mental or social power.
  • Legendary Sword: The hero gains a weapon that is a beast's anathema and deals Agg damage equal to the hero's Legend+2(The sword breaks the damage cap against beasts). The sword can automatically slay minions and grants the hero an extra action for each beast in the scene.
  • Do or Do Not: By spending a Willpower the hero succeeds on a challenge.
  • Old Man's Training: The hero may call additional skill tests on one skill equal to their legend, that skill refreshes every round without willpower.
  • Hero's Courage: The hero is immune to virtue challenges.
  • Impossibly Virtuous: The hero may call a number of discipline retests per scene equal to their highest virtue.
  • Rally of the King: The hero may spend a willpower to bolster any hunters or humans in the scene with them giving them +10 health, might, and immunity to mental and social mind control.
  • Martyr's Finale: When the hero is killed by a beast they perform one final attack that automatically hits, this deals 25A(This breaks the damage cap).
  • Shelter the Weak: The hero can once per turn use aegis at no cost as long as they are protecting someone else, the Aegis covers themselves and everyone they're trying to protect giving each 12 health levels of force shielding.
