The wraith knows that blades are made to kill. The wraith can spend a pathos and a will. For the duration of the scene, the wraith can use their Empathy retests as though they were melee retests for the purposes of attacking a target. The wraith must use either Empathy or Melee on a specific challenge, but not both. This power can be activated in addition to Outrage at the top of the round, and does not require an action. The wraith need only spend the Willpower once but has to spend the pathos every round to keep it up. If used with Outrage 5 wings of rage, the wraith gains an additional occult test and an additional empathy retest.

Upon taking this power the wraith shapes their own mastery of their weapon into an artifact, its rating is equal to your circle, it has traits equal to 4+rating, and deals 3L.
It has a number of the following powers, equal to your circle. If you attempt to soulcraft this artifact into yourself with release the dead sword it will develop a unique ability as normal. This Blade counts as a fetter and counts against your total fetters.

* Massive: The blade deals one extra level of damage
* Fiery Blade: One damage from the sword is agg
* Illusion: once per combat you can call an overbid retest on a melee attack.
